If u r the 8.4 non elocker it is the same third as the 1st gen tundra axle. It will swap right in.

I thought he swapped in the t100 axle then blew two 8.4 thirds w/5.29... If it was on the elocker diff then whateves we know they are not as strong as that extra .4" lol. But really they aren't from what I've read :)

Yeah I meant more the whole 8" third vs 8.4" third lol

That said I had no issues with my elocker other than when I blew the stock set an ha to have a bad regear redone by Yotamasters. But after it was done right no issues and I beat on it, but it was 4.56.

Or you could have bought the $100 one from Trail Gear that Poly Performance sells.

I'll check my finances. Bought a new gun so I might have to pass.

Except I have daytona bearings so it has to be machined different than a normal 9". I could have bought that and had it machined but I wanted to buy it from a place that could do the machining all in one. I wouldnt doubt the one I bought is a copy of that one though, it looks exactly the same but mine is like 3/8" shorter for the daytona supports

or you could skip all the adapter nonsense and have a new driveshaft made since you'll likely need modifications anyway.

I may eventually do that once I twist this drive line to pieces lol. What did that cost to get a full driveshaft with the slip joint?

cheap, and I had AZ drive shaft do it and they're a little more expensive than most. I think I spent like $600 with a new OEM carrier bearing. Still need to have them build me a spare.

Ok just chatted with Jordan he had two elocker thirds from ecgs with 5.29. They warrantied the first then after second he went with old t100 that had stock 4.90s till truck went bye bye.

The more and more I think about the more I want 5.29s :D
