Long Travel BS Thread

The next level costs another $50K and requires a lot of time under the knife. My financial strategy is to play the lottery and hope I win. Seems solid compared to my last idea, which was a complicated scheme involving midget strippers, chimpanzees, and bacon.

I agree that the next level can be 50k if you go all out. but for my 5 year build plan Im thinking cage, fuel cell, seats, GPS, oil coolers, electric fans, and 3.0 rear shocks at a total much less than that.

After bringing up the 37s idea I went out to my truck since I was at the shop still working on the Currie 9" swap and I decided it is definitely not worth the hassle to go 37s. The cost of fiberglass, race hubs, loss of 4wd, firewall work, and still only getting 13" of front travel isnt worth it.

That idea is dead to me but guys dont say it cant be done it just takes lots of $$$ to do it RIGHT.

WTF! Can't believe he went for it & balls out too! When I was watching I was expecting to see the jeep roll or something while trying to back down, never would have expected that.

 

me too haha.... ay but does anyone know.... if and when i do LT i will keep the same COs but have a shorter limit strap... can u still run bypasses up front...??? 6" COs and 8" bypass.... i know this is a dumb ass question but i was just curious....???
