Any tall bastards in here running aftermarket seats? I'm looking to upgrade mine as my fat ass might have bent the track or something lol. Looking for mounting ideas or low seats in general.

Ideally I'd want to be able to internal cage in the future if possible, my head is pretty much at the roof level as is.

Build your own mounts as low as possible and if you get rid of the sliders you'll lose another 1" or so of height. I've cut into floor boards of track cars to get seats mounted as low as possible so a tall driver could drive the caged car with a helmet.

Make sure you have a good amount of clearance around the roof bars if you plan to drive the truck without a helmet (obviously not recommended in a caged vehicle) Also make sure to fit everything with your helmet on. You'd be suprised how much it can change your roll cage tube routing.

Cut out all the sheet metal so you can tuck tubes up tight with the roof. Pain in the ass but worth the extra workimage.jpg

Back in CA for a funeral.

I've seen one LT truck (F150) and about a dozen trucks with fiberglass, wheel spacers, and stock rear suspension.

    So many bro mobiles lol.

Yeah, I see a truck around town all the time ...a 2016 with 6" fenders and trophy bedsides...and completely stock suspension with 2" spacers on all 4 corners. Welcome to CA...now go home

I remember when people bashed on my truck because I only had tires and fiberglass. Not everyone uses their trucks like we do, would sound pretty dumb if I bashed on all the trucks that arent caged and linked

Well my current suspension is a jack stand, I have about 6" of lift. Do you think I could clear 35's?
