Looks like a nice build. How i'd do a 2nd gen for an all arounder...so far anyways.

Oh that makes sense. At first I was thinking you had like 1.5 inch spacers on top of a 3.5 kit. Nice man on the glass! Are you going to be able to pick that up? Looking forward to seeing that project. Im sure guys would happily pay to get your current ones.

 

So is that 12 hours or 6 hours full trip? That still is likely a savings of atleast $140 by driving. That's the thing about glass from them I don't get, compared to road runner they are expensive as fuck for shipping. My road runner fenders cost me $60 total from CA to VA.

 

Damn man that is a bummer its that much driving, but man I couldn't justify that shipping. Too bad you arnt interested in bedsides as that would make it worth it for that. I think the shipping cost alone is why Road runner appealed to me so much besides their availability and prices in general.

 

how was the install i really want to run this. i already have a t100 axle in my garage

 

My friend did the install in his side yard. He said the worst part was cutting all the stock shit off. Other than that the install went super smooth. Only took him a couple days to have it sitting on its own weight again

Alright guys ... anyone want to chime in and explain how to adjust the heims? Or should I just take it to an alignment shop and ask if they know how to perform an alignment with heimed uppers?

 

Stock front and rear hangers, stock bump pads, stock axle perches, and a couple other miscellaneous things off the frame

 

well im swapping axles so thats already done just got to cut hangers and miscellaneous stuff thanks for the info

 

You have to remove the through bolt....heim by firewall comes out for more caster and in for less. Do equal turns to the front if you would like to add positive camber. Alignment shops won't mess with them.

Grinding a tundra axle smooth is the worst. Must of went through 10 cutting disk.

 

That's a good point, they probably did go for the pro deal.
