This was also honestly my thought and it's why I keep my cooler up against the cab. You get to camp and can crack open a cold one without it exploding all over the place.

I think it kinda depends what ur building the truck for and how u plan on using it. If it's a race or toy to play in then further back gives better weight ratio, esoiciakly with two. If it's a dd grocery getter that can go play well then what ever works for ur personal preference. Most of us once we go full long travel kinda r willing to sacrafice a lil on day to day use n looks for better function... Function over form or some shit lol

    Just my unedgimacated .2¢ :D

There's the problem u have it listed to low! U need to list it for like 120k then these rich ass hats that know nothing about these trucks will think it te best trophy truck out there... A lil gold plating and wrap like said above and u could prolly get $180k

You don't have to just center the bolts either when you do the square washer trick. You can cut your own blank square washers, align your truck and then take some precise measurements from edge of your cam tab to the center of your cam bolt head and then drill the hole in your square washer so that it locates your new bolt exactly where you want it.

You'll be fine with the giant kit. I've seen it in person and it's a great kit for the 2nd gens.

How much tire to spindle clearance would people recommend?
Truck needs new wheels and need to decide on the offset while balancing clearance and scrub

Another one in the books. Explorer Sport Trac finished up with my daily driver link kit. The same link kit for my second gen Tacoma.

It's the same as a double cab short bed Tacoma. Same type of composite bed, not a unibody, it's built off of the Ford Explorer and Ford Ranger frames. It's a 4 liter V6 with Dixon long travel in front, bypasses bumps and coilovers.

Is it a Dixon 4x4 kit? I always wanted a Sport Trac when they first came out.
