Question for you 2nd Gen LT's...

Did any of you notice more play in the steering wheel once you installed your kit?!

Mine is almost an 1" each way, used to be super tight & responsive, now it's kinda sloppy.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, trying to think how bad it used to be pre-LT.

Do you think it would be shot at 25,00miles?!

When the tires are straight is where the play is (well the most obvious play) In turns it feels like I'm turning the wheel way more than I should have to, I don't know might just be me on that one.

Yes, but not that bad. You have All Pro tie rods as well, right? Check the tightness of the bolt/nut on the end of the tie rod at the spindle end. It's an angled bolt with a misalignment cam, the bolt should be angled forward.

Try bleeding your power steering system as well. Lift the front wheels off the ground and turn from lock to lock several times with the motor turned off. Make sure your power steering fluid is at the correct level before starting this.

Also check for wear in the heim joints. They dont last for shit. Mine are shot after only 9 months on the truck.

not correct. im using my stock toyota fuel pick-up and pump in my 32 gallon cell.

all just in how you plumb it. i like the idea of keeping my stock gauges and as many stock components as i can... that way when it breaks, i know exactly where to get one and it isnt gunna cost me 300 bucks for just some external pump.
