He pulled his fenders ala stance scene. It really depends on tire size - 35's would most likely still clearance you out w/o cutting like mxpatriot.

I just got excited seeing a second gen having the ability to stuff without glass. I know that you did yours, oh well probably should still go glass anyways.

Glass is functional and cool looking (IMO) why not go with it?

I def agree man, I just wanted to see if I could safely install a rear LT first and then put glass on after. If not, then glass first.

Install bump stop spacers to limit up travel?:annoyed:
After you spent $1000's for every last inch of travel. :D

I'm not quite LT like you guys, but bamf relocation and 12" shocks. A little trimming, but I can stuff my 35's and dare I say 37's :spy:

Very true. Like I said, not quite as LT as most people. But still that little bit of trimming gave a ton of clearance. Though I will be getting glass when I save up for it.

Lol to clarify not saying anything wrong with doing it - just associating where the technique is often used... I like the idea of waiting until you're good and ready to do some bodywork and possibly paint, but still be able to use your truck for some of what it can do. Plus your truck looks super clean - I don't think most people would ever know anything was done to your bedsides. Your technique was pretty nice imo.

My truck has a hole punched in one bedside and a bunch of trail damage on that side so I think I'll have some fun doing some :sawzall: until putting on fiberglass until a good deal arrives - another consideration for doing this if your truck isn't minty enough to sell your parts after replacing them. Like to see some pics of your whole truck to get a better idea of how the front and rear match up with the body work.

Beauty and the beast eh? Dang. What did you do to the brz's engine? I'm sure you've seen the Crawford frs - some goals for me. Realistically probably half the cost of that supercharger will ever be spent on total mods for the car (that I don't even own yet) lol.

That brz would be ruined within a few blocks driving through SF at that height

But I guess that's what the bags are for

Yep keep you from having to slant across every embankment / hill - in LA there's some potholes that make the frost heaved roads where I grew up in the in the northeast look like a racetrack. I'd consider something along the same lines for down here too...

I would be up for the challenge if I liked the stock look. I would eventually get glass even if I didn't LT the rear. I think you did a killer job on yours that matches up well. The second gen fenders to me look nothing like the glass fenders so to me I don't want the mismatch either. Anyway thanks everyone for the info. I think I will glass first and collect my LT stuff as I don't want to bump stuff that I bought it to be used for.
