My friends did some of that stuff when we were younger - I was always more of a beer and kind of guy though... thinking about trying some? They liked to go to Magic Mountain on that stuff.

any way to tell what type of deavers these are and if they would work for my first gen?

 

Those are for something full size, not lots of arch either. Don't even bother.

 

Where are you going for fab work? Baja Kits? DMZ?

The two different length steering extensions are because of me and my 4 banger regular cab that was so much lighter that their standard length ones wouldn't let me get my toe in spec so they cut shorter ones for me. I guess they started putting them in their kits - I told them the truck was too light for their springs they spec out too.

Looks like you're going to have a fun road trip - especially on the way back

 

At the moment the intention is to take the truck to wright fabrication for the welding and bed cage build but nothing is set in stone yet since I'm still waiting on parts and didn't want to book anything til I know everything was ready

 

sooooo back to the TRD limited slip? anybody have an opinion found a brand new one for 250$ as opposed to buying the detroit locker for $550 its for my daily

 

whats it out of? The only one that fits a tacoma is from an 05-08 2nd gen.

They work okay. Nothing great. Not a detroit at all.

 

its for my T100 8.4" The guy never used it.

 

so...what is it out of?

I ask because the Supra and a few other lexus cars came with an LSD that swaps over to the 8'' diff for pre tacos. But won't fit an 8.4

 

oh gotcha its the kazuma one if that helps

 

hmm not sure what the difference is between the 2nd gen taco/tundra one vs the Kazuma.

But they work okay. Not a locker though and won't get you unstuck.

 

Anyone want some 2nd gen TC non-sway bar gusseted spindles for free tomorrow - come by Downey and swap mine for yours. I'm putting my truck back to stock all day.
