@SanClemTaco did you get a chance to install your giant kit - I've been super busy so I haven't had a chance to ask to see if you needed help :)

Learn something new every day, Camburg Uniballs are snap ring, not press fit. Here I was looking at presses and such, staring at the replacement kit, see a snap ring. Gave camburg a call, and confirmed, Uniballs slide in with a nice tap from a hammer. Snap ring tools en route.

I don't think I've ever seen one without a snap ring.

My mid travel tc uses a snap ring. Super easy with a big socket.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
I need some help, I'm headed out to Cali next month and need a good shop to build my bed cage and install my long travel and all the weld on stuff.
I'm looking for someone who can do quality work and has the time to do it and trying my best not to get price raped. I am using my daily driver as a rescue truck for fellow vets and getting other disabled veterans out and about into the woods to unwind but this is all outta my own pocket so funds are obviously somewhat limited

Any help or recommendations would be appreciated

Your time frame may be tough as most shops are very busy right now. Here are what I would consider the more reputable shops down here

    Smp
    Dmz
    Solo
    Lsk
    Dirt designs
    Dtf
    @jeffz0rz
    Rj fabrication

That's just a few (I'm sure I missed a bunch. Like I said, everyone is pretty busy. I'd start making calls yesterday. Let them know you're coming in from out of state and that you have some hard deadlines. It's not uncommon to hear about guys dropping their trucks off for 1-2 weeks worth of work and not getting it back for 2-3 months. With sema and the 1000 coming up on us fast I'd try to lock something in asap

    Aaaaaaaaiiiiiiirrrrrrrr gggggguuuuunnnnn :D

Seriously it helps soooo much. Cut the head off the rivet, flap wheel flat, hammer out. I got a buddy to help me, and we were doing like 4 rivets a min

Edit: I first tried with a hammer and drill and was about to put my truck on Craigslist.

Yup! ^ That's the trick right there. I hope you're neighbors like you with the air hammer and punch cause it's loud!

Definitely thought someone was going to say something when I was doing my install.

Hey I made the cut! Woohoo! yes, sema is coming up soon and everyone is slammed especially since it's off-season. This is my sema contribution

It was a second thought cage that was added after the interior was done, all the paint and trim was done. Quite a pain in the ass. The roll cage was half-built, cut out of the car and sent to paint, then put back in the car and fully welded. Never again.
