So I just did the math, and it will be cheaper for me to buy 5 new 16'' wheels and tires and sell my 17'' wheels and tires then to just replace my existing tires.

4WP will mount, balance, and ship 5 tires for $112. Tires for 16'' wheels are $30-50 cheaper than for 17'' wheels. I can then sell my existing wheels and tires and more than make back the difference.

So looks like I'll be getting new wheels :D

I went with 17s because I heard some LT guys were getting some rubbing on the inside diameter of their 16s on their UCAs. Are you going to have that issue? Havent heard much about it other than Blackhawke I believe.

The wheels will be around $150 a piece. I'm saving $50 on each tire by dropping wheel size and I'm sure I can sell my existing wheels (with tires mounted) for at least $100 a piece.

dude why are you buying new? why wouldnt you hunt through race dezert or DR before blowing a ton more money on some wheels and tires? seems rather idiotic to spend 4 times what you need to.

it doesnt have to be in that neck of the woods. you just have to ask them to ship. like right now... just paid 250.00 for a third member shipped to my place from washington because people out here are asking 800-1200 for the same third memeber here in san diego...

there are always ways to find things cheaper... just takes a bit more time to locate... ill waste my time in order to save money any day.

oh i know what you mean. that is why i make it known i will only pay through paypal so we are both protected from fraud. they tend to chill out a bit when that is mentioned within the first few emails.

go to www.dailylister.com and search for what you need... then ask them to ship. you will be surprised to see many will be willing as long as you make it known payment is through paypal ONLY.

yep. there are always ways to be scammed yes, but if you just talk with the people and your a genuine individual then i dont think you would freak them out. it is sketchy people like that bypasses dude that automatically raise that "is he a scammer?" question.
