    ...too much shit to list.
    Took a 20 ton press to remove and install uniballs with anything I've ever worked on (TC and Camburg). Camburg was a little easier but fuck trying to do that with a hammer.

    Also glad I have TC after reading the last two pages.

    Talked to the owner of the blue truck/Bobby at solo and supposedly the case needs to be machined to fit and they do some machine work to the piston to speed up response. Looking at it it looks stock but those dudes have always been good to me so I don't have any reason to not believe them

    Word. I'd rather do swinger, but as of now this is only option

    what do you think a fair price would be for my Camburg Lt? have replacement bushings, extra upper uniball deal that gets pressed into the spindle, the spindle, unused ss brake lines, and some other extras.

    Question for all that have experience dismantling the front CVs.
    I pulled mine apart Monday and the outboard of one CV had taken on a small amount of water. There's a thin patina of rust on the star.
    It doesn't seem to have any extra slop, but the contact surfaces are noticeably rougher to the touch. Think it's still good to go?IMG_2976.jpg

    When you realize you have a free spare car and open garage for the next two weeks to install your rear LT, but you don't have shocks yet and of course king can't give you an updated or accurate eta on them
    :annoyed::angrygirl::bananadead:

    How bad could it be driving around with no shocks for hopefully only a few weeks?:notsure:

    I thought about that, but if I'm gonna be stripping the axle and frame of spring hangars, shackles and bump stop pads etc I kinda want to strip it all at once. Not have to go back later to pull the shock tower and shock mounts off. Plus going from soa to sua I would bottom my shocks long before hitting my new bumps.

    Edit: Though maybe measure for the 16's and use the 12's in their place until they get here? Then just set bumps and straps when they come in

    As long as you have bumps and straps it's do able. But it does suck, the truck bounces a ton when blowing thru 16" of travel to just bounce off the bumps. It's not the same as a stock truck with no shocks. It will lean like crazy too.

    Yeah I'd need some 16's since it's the rear I am building now.
