Could possibly weld the lower shock mount lower on the axle or get a shock with a welded rod eye, no idea how much success to be had with either of those, but they may help squeeze in a longer shock

Or for the cost if those hoops, buy a tubing bender and die and make his own

I'm getting about 11.5" out of my set up soa with the bamf kit and 12" shocks. But it took a shackle flip kit as well. The limiting factor is the leafs for me.

Most SOA setups cylce 10'' or so when setup properly. Your option is to have a 10'' shock and strap the axle. Or 12'' and potentially either bump the axle short or move the top mount into the bed.

I got the TC mid SUA in my rear and with the BAMF relocation I was able to route 12s in there. TC said that if you use their shock hoop, it is set up for 10.5 inches. I guess you could throw a 12 in?

our dear friend Jason also proved that the shackle flips are not worth it for 2nd gens. Unless you are very much okay with your leaf packs going negative..a lot.

That's because it's designed to fit bypasses on their sua setup which has about 3-4" more bump travel than an soa setup. It would clear 12's with soa. They run 10's with their sua because the way the inner wheel well tapers away from the frame rails at the top it would push a 12" shock out a little far with their sua setup requiring aftermarket wheels as well as wheel spacers.

    Is that a bad thing:notsure:
Jk but yes definitely goes negative at bump. Not the end of the world if you're doing more crawling or expedition stuff. But not good for high speed and using a lot of your up travel. I was just trying to say you can get almost all of your 12" used in a soa set up and have it function well. But there is a reason I am switching to LT and sua

    10-4

Customer came to pick up the rear parts and the springs were not ready...even though they were ordered.

Customer was looking for shops, in California, to do the install. Unfortunately we could not do the install but suggested a shop in Anaheim. They unfortunately did not get back to him. I don't know how you can blame us because we couldn't line up a shop for you out here. We tried!

King found a shop for him...note to everyone...we did not do the install

As for the axles...2016 Tacoma's have 2 different spline counts determined by the build date of the truck...early 2016 have a 30 spline and later have a 29 spline.

During the install, his shop called and said the spline was off. We have the 29 spline on the shelf, he came by and picked it up.

Customer had a CV issue...of course, he blamed us for it. Never blamed his installer.

Got mad at me because we did not have a trailer to pick him up. He wanted Jordan to go meet him in HB and fix it. I told him to have it towed to us and we can go over everything. He decided to take it to HB Toyota to have it checked....again, WE DID NOT DO THE INSTALL!!

He finally was able to get a hold of Jordan Brenthel and the customer brought his truck in on Monday and we did a full once over on his truck.

But the customer is still blaming us.

Just wanted to give you the other side of the story on this

I forgot to mention that TC and Camburg do not provide CV boots or clamps with their kits either.

They provide, just like us, the extended axle shaft itself.

    Hahaha!

Everything is done. Nothing to see here.

I just wanted to give our side when there was a lot of bashing on us.
