Too bad you're not local. I'd loan my FJ ones and I'm pretty sure they'd work. After shipping, wouldn't be so cheap anymore. None of the companies you're going with, offer a completed axle? I know the Dirt King kit I ordered has completed axles for $3-400 more. It was worth the hassle IMO.

    Yes
That deal Dirt King offers is very cool, they machine OE CV's for extra clearance and pre build them with axles and ship them out complete. Worth the $ in my book to not have to build them up myself AND get the custom machined CV's too.

    ...too much shit to list.
FJ and T4R have a different spline count on the shafts compared to Tacoma. This is why there are two separate part numbers for the extended shafts. If you bought extended axle shafts for the tacoma, they will not fit in the T4R/FJ birf (and vice versa).

Also RCV offers complete axles for our application now, including extended axles for LT.

I was on the fence about doing these myself. Then looking at buying some OEM inner CV's to send to them or rebuilt axles... Decided this is the route and ordered them up. And the $120 core is super cheap too, I plan to keep my axles as OEM spares. Can't buy anything for that price, it's a no brainier. Very good deal they offer.

No prob. I always stop by the RCV site to see if prices have changed. Those axles make me feel instant poor. The DK kit seemed much more reasonable afterwards hah.

Ah well, at least the splines on the inner diff and outter axle are 30 right? But I understand the shaft splines are different. In that case, could run the FJ axle shaft. I was looking on RCV and they grouped FJ, 4R and Tacoma together. Maybe another option since I see wrecked FJs pretty often on CL. http://www.rcvperformance.com/product-details-axles.aspx?sku=CVJIFS-TOY2
