I had a little bit of play on that side when I'd roll into something and come to a stop against whatever it was. Once in awhile I'd hear a snap / clunk from the bolt turning and snapping back into place when the stripped threads would release inside the sleeve. The bolt was torqued to spec so it left me mystified. I wasn't surprised when I found what it was since I had shaken down the truck for anything I could find and all the evidence seemed to be pointing towards the cam bolts even though they were holding the torque. I just didn't want take it apart and pay for another alignment since the kit was going to be removed and I'd have to get another alignment anyway.

Got a call from Advanced Fiberglass - 5 weeks from the day I ordered my fenders. Not bad - I never contacted them for an update (once on FB, never replied to, but whatever) and I wasn't in a rush.

Any tips for keeping a LCA Uniball bolt from coming loose? It keeps coming loose on the driver side after every trip. :annoyed:

    ...too much shit to list.
Red Locktite and a nylock or stover nut. Stover nut's are 1 time use. If you used one before and it came loose or you removed it, it will never hold like it did when it was new.

It has a stover nut on it so that must be my issue. Was tight for 2 years, until my last trip I just re-torqued it and it came loose again.

I'll try switching over to a nylock - thanks!

Absolutely but you have to find the right one. Just look for one with modified cars or trucks parked behind it that belong to the technicians.

Mine came loose a while ago and wallowed out the arm. Now I have to keep it He-Man tight to keep it from moving.

My buddy talked to total chaos about this, everything within spec and only would happen on one side. Had a lower uniball bolt that kept coming loose. Even with brand new uniball, new bolt, new nut. They recommended putting a second bolt on it or could fine put a little weld on the bottom but obviously you'd ruin the bolt to get it out.

I wasn't going to order any but they got me with the Labor Day sale lol. I won't even install it any time soon, but if I need any more I'll do that.

IMG_1338.jpg And 11 weeks later these arrived. Might have time to squeak them in tomorrow evening. But probably this weekend.

Does anyone know of any good driveshaft shops in socal and how much it should cost around to have the driveshaft vibration fixed? preferably around the oc,inland empire area. Was quoted 700 to have the rear shaft replaced, u joints, and add a yoke if needed because the pinion angle is dipped down a bit.
