    Depending on the severity and how long you've had the vibrations, your joints may be good. Again, there's no reason you should be getting vibrations. Tons of guys on here have had sua installs with no problems. A slip yoke just makes sure your driveshaft doesn't poke into your transmission or transfercase if you're 4x4. If the pinion angle's wrong then all the drive line work in the world won't correct it.

    Did you ask Geoff what he thought about this? I'm curious to hear what he has to say since the only 2nd gens I've seen this kit installed on were regular cabs or access cabs - so only long beds. If the issue is that he didn't design the kit correctly for short beds and that's why you need to have the driveshaft shortened it would be interesting to see what he says about it.

    Drivelines Inc. in Mission Viejo. They lengthened the one on my truck quickly. They also do drive shafts for past and present desert racers.

    My neighbor had his front ds on his Jeep turned around in one day from this place delivered and picked up from his work in Costa Mesa because he works at a marine engine shop.

    All in and buttoned up. Quick test drive tonight tells me I definitely need more ride height, front and rear, but especially in the front. And need to spend some time dialing in the bypasses. Hopefully get to do that this weekend. But already noticeably better than the previous setup and the rear is out performing the front as it should. IMG_1352.jpg

    Yeah I was curious about shortening them as well. Just don't have access to nitrogen to refill them yet, and no one in my town has any either. Hopefully going to acquire a tank in a few months or so and I'll shorten them an inch or two. First will be to get with deaver about an add a leaf because my rear bumper only allows for me to have 7" of up travel. I need to raise my rear end at least an inch or two

    Thanks for the advice. Would something like the ARB tire deflator be good enough to let some air out? I don't have any no loss chucks or anything like that. Like I said I'm planning on getting a nitrogen set up eventually, but since everything is brand new now, shouldn't be needing to rebuild anything for at least a little while

    Don't bother with a deflater. You gotta be quick. The nitrogen cavity is so small, a half second and you are out of juice.

    Gotcha. Any suggestions on how to drop it safely? Or don't until I have access to nitrogen with a no loss chuck?

    I should probably shorten mine also, running them at 100 PSI. Might try what you suggestes of 60 PSI. I shortened some the other day for another truck but haven't added oil yet, any idea how much oil I should remove if I shorten them 2"?

    I don't know off hand in terms of volume. But you can just measure the oil level from the top before and match it after. Volume is volume. Doesn't matter if it's a liquid or solid.

    Im working on making my own uca's now and then it'll be lift spindles. When I make my jig for my uca's I'm leaving room to make an extended set later. The rear I plan on doing chevy 63's and keep my sua set up paired with some nice shocks. Im graduating in December so I should be able to do more.
