Why is it that I can't find 9/16 flanged bolts or nuts?

When you build with American parts lol
My new bushings Id is 9/16. I can only find regular grade 8 with nylock nut. Nothing flanged. Would that be enough for holding a uca bushings in place?

Your tolerances for fabrication were too tight, that's why they were hard to make. Bigger gaps, more weld, less fab, less time, get more done. JK. I'm a terrible fabricator for tolerances but have become a good gap welder.

This^^^^ Lol you just won't loose the washer, just buy some 9/16s SAE washers. That's what everyone uses. Regular washers are too big, SAE washers are much smaller and still do the job.

It won't. Just use some stover nuts, properly shanked hardware, and SAE washers and you can call it a day! We run that on our race truck and I've driven it a 115 MPH without any arms flying off. Well we use 12 point aircraft grade hardware but grade 8 hardware will definitely hold for mild build.

A washer attached to the nut vs not attached doesn’t mean the uca is going to separate on the fwy.

Anyone get a code of P0441 or P0455? When installing an sua kit and bedsides? Gas cap doesn't seem like the issue I only turn it until I hear a click.

Thanks... 5 lugs use a way smaller bolt diameter than the bushing sleeves I have so I decided to upgrade size and there was quite a few options to pick from.
