In my case it was a lot more than a 1/2" of droop gained. The washers are only used to mock up how much of a spacer you need and then you can make or order a solid spacer. Paul at Solo stated that there was no need to weld the spacer to the LBJ adapt when it is only 1/4" and the correct extended length bolt it used.

I get that. I'm familiar with the spacers a set came with your oem DK arms. A machined spacer is a long ways off from a few stacked galvanized washers. I'd be willing to bet as many people as would go to the trouble of machining a spacer, twice as many would just run a set of washers. You go above most when it comes to fixing these things right Jason. That's not the norm these days.

Hey there, I was thinking about having my old boss lathe me out some spacers out of billet since I'll be out near him next month. But if I didn't have that tie I'd probably run just the washers :anonymous: Now gonna run the machined ones dirt king is gonna send me when they get here.

I like to fix things right, but don't get scared of a bandaid that's not super sketchy. My shit gets checked often enough and I used to be a tech as a profession

Ya I’ll be calling Dirt King tomorrow... Time to crank limit straps. No biggie, it will all work itself out. We aren’t talking simple bolt on accessories. These things take tweaking.

Looks like they need to revise thier lower arm design and put a lil bend in it to fix the issue

Again thanks. I did just that and the pass side was binding, I cranked it back up until I could rotate the tire,(about an inch) Might have to go with 8" straps instead of 10. Appreciate the input man!

16x1.5x45 is stock. So I went with 55mm length to allow for the spacers.

I just gotta say Dirt King has stand up customer service. I emailed Greg a pic last night, he called me this morning first thing. Said they were making parts right away and I should have them in hand tomorrow (good to live close for one day shipping).

Pretty stand up service for sure!

Ahhh! Why'd you have to show me those!

I don't need fully fabbed spindles, I don't need fully fabbed spindles....

Really just want to do a lower uniball conversion.. The stock LBJ scares me...
