Yeah they’re next along with cam tab. Coil bucket will probably be down the road since it’s not really a go-fast rig right now

    Most important difference
Semi float, the axle shafts have to support the weight of your truck and deal with the twisting forces from the wheels. If you break an axle shaft you normally loose the wheel/brakes

Full float, all the weight is on the hubs and the axle shafts are only dealing with twisting forces, plus if one breaks you don’t loose the whole wheel
Basically a full float is Similar to a front 4wd setup, except with a solid axle.

I still have to drill the holes which won’t really matter for another month, but I “steeled” the cage and bolted it in. Just ordered my king triples from dsm which luckily they had two sets left in stock so I don’t have to wait 7 weeks! Just need the dmz kit and I’m ready to install!

The texture comes entirely from how the product is applied any of them can be smooth or rough. Air pressure and technique determine the texture with sprayed on liners and with the rolled on liners they way you roll it and how long into its curing you roll it determines the amount of texture.

Good point. That's true within limits in my experience when comparing different products like bed liners I've seen different substrate materials mixed in. I've had some paint samples of monstaliner and their substrate is not similar to the line x and rhinoliner. Theirs are more like pebbles while monstaliner is like chips or flakes. It really feels less like stucco than the other kinds. More like knocked down orange peel texture you'd see in a restroom. :notsure:

I have owned Linex and Linex premium, premium is a completely different product. I have sprayed the premium myself and applied about 600 sq ft of monstaliner recently on some obstacle course props. Monstaliner rolled on can absolutely be the most severely textured product if you hit it with the special texture roller once it starts to kick. You can make that shit turn into 2 grit sandpaper. The liners look really shitty when the texture is not right or uneven, it takes some practice to make it look good.

For sure. I was going off of samples and my first gen's bed that's covered in rhinoliner or line x - previous owner didn't remember which one it was. I'd rather go with a more durable feeling coating than monstaliner for high build applications - the paint doesn't seem to cure as hard as some others. I could almost put a mark in it with my fingernail. Maybe they didn't mix their samples the same way you mixed your stuff. The amount of hardener can make a difference I'm sure.

What do you prefer between line x and line x pro vs monstaliner if you were painting your truck?
