You should keep your eye out for a used Baja Designs light rack. I had this rack on my 06 Tacoma and my 00 Tacoma with great results. Only downside is when light rack is flipped up, it’s a huge air damn. It seriously feels like your truck slows down with the amount of air it catches.

Yeah I could try to build one but I don't have a bunch of time and it'd probably take me a year which is how long my bumper took. Thought I'd see if someone built it so it looks like I'm going to haft to start building and borrow a buddies smaller dies for the small tubing. What size tubing did you use flapjack?

500 is pricey for a couple bends in some metal. Thats not including lights. im not into lights anymore, that 1300 bucks for KCs is coilovers to link the truck. thats a better use of moneys imo

Yeah I looked at that and f if I'm paying that much for lights when I could stick the $ into suspension or the engine.

Yeah I talked to tc about it because I haul a dirtbike and had a topper so they told me to go with the heavier springs and the truck rides rougher than my 1 ton work truck. The suspensions so stiff that it won't fully flex. I've been running it without 3 leafs and a 500lb tire in the bed and its still stiff as shit.

Glad to know because I havent bought anything for my rear set up yet. I figure go big or go home cause I dont want to buy things twice. Im concidering the DMZ kit or I just saw that bajakits is or has already released a cage set up.

Nice man I thought you were considering the TC kit for a minute. If not...man I think a bed cage is where its at. I got a bolt on bedcage from DMZ that is a good low profile bed saver one for his kit. I know Giant motor sports makes one, although its not as space savy.

Im right there with you on that kit...I have the HD springs and man it rides rough. Looking forward to seeing what DMZ can do...but on trail that TC kit don't hold up worth crap. I think guys like you and me were the guinea pigs for that TC kit as at the time no one had really reviewed it on the forums. If I could have done it over I would have just waited. Knowing my luck though...in a few years I could see me linking.

For a leaf LT rear...I have heard countless guys rave about the DMZ kit. I know a few who have the giant and the camburg one and it just isn't as smooth from what I have read. Regardless...DMZ has some great attention to detail although his aint cheap. That said, you get what you pay for.

Yeah I was considering it but as I said when you were here I always seem to over research things until I just hall off and buy something. I saw pics of one from Giant but when I went to there website they only showed raptor and ranger cages.

If it was me and you got to relocate your shocks and shit...just do it right the first time regardless of your front kit. More travel in the rear is ALWAYS better!

My buddy owns that light bar now. It was a one off. Just a light bar that mounts to the factory holes on the roof

Yeah for sure!! I fill that as long as I can get 16"-20" of travel in the rear for now ill be happy. Im now thinking I may go with the LSK Suspension kit for the front.
