That's funny that you say it's stiff
Cause I got the HD kit which is supposed to be the stiffer option and I swear with just a tire in the bed of the truck my ass squats bad
They are softer springs than stock imo
I by far wish I had just done 4 link from the beginning

Best part about behind the cab is no glare on the windshield or hood. I agree you can feel the air on pavement but when off road I can't tell, that's why a little switch in the cab to make it lay flat is really nice :D

Plenty of light for less than $500 all in with lights, tubing, actuator and wiring

Yeah I have no idea because I've looked over everything and when I put the 500lb tire into the bed, it squatted like 1" and still won't fully flex.

Super simple. I don't have any close ups after I linked the rear end but same thing

Kinda surprised a legit shop would tell you 17” when it’s likely pulling 12”

Huge difference and makes the shop sound shady.

maybe he means flex not droop.
wouldn't you get close to 17" flexed on that set up if your droop is around 12"

If that's the case, my mid travel soa setup was pulling 19" of travel and I am currently pulling 34" with my dmz kit

I don't think so as the geo of the spring would likely not allow for anything further than 12.

I made that way back in 2012. It was a one-off.

LED bars are a far better setup. Roof mounted pods create a lot of wind resistance and are incredibly noisy at speed. Your truck will be less aerodynamic and slower and you'll notice it immediately. LED's also draw far less power and don't need to warm up like HID's do.

If you have ever met erik or seen the trucks he built I don't tend to question him

    With that being said
I am no expert on suspension and still have plenty to learn

But in my experience I never question erik as when he finds something in a kit he doesn't like
He rebuilds it or modifies it to his liking

    But honestly
    Who cares? :)

I'll be selling the parts shortly and the people who purchase it can reference the promised numbers for those parts and I'll move on :)

So who is partying this weekend?
My truck is still stuck at Toyota with a blown diff and Toyota doesn't wanna touch it haha

What did Toyota officially declare about the rear? I would assume for corporate that they would need to provide some sort of technical explanation of how your diff fails the criteria for warranty right?

They actually requested one of the corporate techs come out and inspect my truck today
    Meaning
    Hey
We don't want to warranty this,
Tell us it's okay for us to do so.

I have a escalated case with corporate because this dealer keeps giving me issues and this bullshit is no new occourance. So
Realistically it's all in the air currently.

Either way when it's over I'm gonna replace the rear end with an aftermarket rear end such as Currie or camburg
(Leaning towards camburg but I keep flip flopping so feel free to make an argument each way)

I was thinking of putting round led lights instead of the hids. I might try to build one kinda like yours in my free time but might try to use smaller lights instead of the bigger pods to see how it works.

Well it sounds like corporate is taking it seriously if they are sending out one of their own to check out your ride. If they do replace your diff...do you plan to just sell it and get the curry?
