Agreed, but I will be in the same boat when I go to offload my TC SUA in a month or so.

Why not just use the brake lines that come with the kit? As for the rear, what kit are you going with and how much travel are you going to be pulling? I want to say my rears are 26" and they are plenty long for my dmz kit and 17" of travel

I agree just saying more how you can see how big the difference is from link mounted vs axle mounted shocks

@dirt addiction what size bump stops do you have in front - stroke length that is?

What rear spacers is everyone running with +2 LT front? Logic says i should get 2” spacers but ive seen alot of guys using 1.5”.

Also, the 2” spacers all seem to be cheap import crap.

All he said was driveshaft mods when I talked to him.

Back to the bumpstops. I asked Micah since that’s where I got them and figured he might sell a spacer. He said you can’t shorten a 2” due to oil volume. So looks like I’ll just keep using my bumps as a third shock. ;)

The reason for the rear spacers is to clear the shock body of the rear shocks. Keep in mind once you go above a 1.25 inch width spacer the loading on the bearing starts to increase exponentially more as the wider you go. Because of this, many refrain from going bigger than 1.5 inches or simply get a wider rear axle.

The turning radius is smaller when the rear is narrower than the front (a good thing with a wide vehicle), so it's not exactly necessary to match them. BORA makes 2" spacers. All-Pro too, afaik.

I run bora 2” with a 3.5 kit. Wheel bearing wear isn’t going to change a whole with that extra 1/2” Id bet.

I did mine mostly for looks.

It sounds like you need to give tuning another try and maybe with a pro. I know you are not in CA but it’s a good excuse to go on a fun off-road trip. I have talked to a few shock tuners and for $600 - $800 they will meet you in the desert and do a full tune and revalves as necessary on your whole truck to get it at its best. I know that may seem like a penny to pay but it’s cheap compared to starting over and doing a $7k to $10k link setup. And you will spend that much because there are always hidden costs.

Not trying to discourage you from linking or be insulting, but even those of us who have been at this for a long time spend many trips out complaining about performance and tuning shocks until we get there. A shock tunner can get you damn close in a day if they know their shit, and there is a good amount that do...

That’s not bad. I’d pay that. From the little tuning I’ve done it made a huge improvement and I don’t know what I’m doing.

Looks right to me, 450 right and 500 down gets you 237.

    Rate 100 150 200 250 300 350 400 450 500
    100 50
    150 60 75
    200 67 86 100
    250 71 94 111 125
    300 75 100 120 136 150
    350 78 105 127 146 162 175
    400 80 109 133 454 171 187 200
    450 113 138 161 180 196 212 225
    500 143 167 188 206 222 237 225

edit-not formatting right, but the bolds line up in the actual table.
