I realize it is just the upper link but does anyone else find it odd that it appears to be a single shear attachment ?

Hmm, thats an interesting assumption, reasoning or data to back this up? They have been on there for about 20k and haven't heard a squeak out of them.

Meh, I've been stuck and still glad I don't have to deal with 4wd headaches. For certain vehicles its great but for what I do its not needed. Just more weight and things to break and over the life of my truck I might have used it two or three times so far

4x4 is muy importante for wheeling in NorCal lol

Edit: I had a 2wd until I moved up north

No doubt different driving styles don't merit it. I couldn't do what I do without it.

i dont do a ton of 4low. Mainly my stuff is speed related and sand with faster mobility. Lately i've gotten into more 4low stuff but with 2wd you can lift higher, its little cheaper and you dont have to deal with Satans dicks people call CV axles.

there is that? If your thing is getting air then I see your point. but I love the slow stuff just as much, much more to see other then sand and desert.
Its nice to have both. maybe someday soon.

so far i've been good with doing both in mine. My set up now performs great in Pismo and over the fast stuff and has performed equally as well in the Rubicon and some trips recently. But i do notice the slow stuff and rocks has caused far more damage to my set up than going fast to this point.

Im glad i have 4wd (fulltime AWD for me) because i go to the snow with the Wife and whatnot. But dealing with the CV axles and boots piss me off.

I haven't had issues with mine. Perhaps you need to lower your ride height?

    i literally cannot do that.

I am at the top of the coilover and can no further adjust.

Height is fine and angles are flat.
