Where to get new bushings?

 

Dmz kit? if it is just contact Tim he has them

 

This or contact deaver since that's where the leafs come from. But either way I'd call Tim first and see what he says. Order through him or deaver

 

It's the hanger bushing Tim cuts them to size himself from what he told me, so I don't think Deaver will have them, but It Kinda looks like he might need new leaf bushings also, But I agree Id just give Tim a call and see what he tells ya.

 

Yeah I'd call Tim first then order parts either through him or deaver. When I put together my kit he wasn't afraid to tell me order a few things elsewhere, while giving me honest feedback on what works and what doesn't work with his kit.

X2 on the leaf bushing. Hadn't noticed.
Time for new rubber I guess.

 

If you look at those hangers from the rear, do they pinch in towards each other? That might be an aggravating factor.

 

It very well could.

 

Per DMZ people is very seldom those bushings need to be replaced.

Yeah, just wondering if the angles are fine and why only the passenger side ones are shot.

 

idk the kit at all but to me that shackle looks tilted way far over.

 

I looked into this when I was thinking about building my 2nd gen - now that I'm doing a 1st gen I'm just going to hose it down with raptorliner. The feedback I got from everyone who's diy wrap job I asked about was don't skimp out on quality of your material to make it an easy job! Your estimate of $500 is right about where I was at when I was looking at 3m wraps for my regular cab. There's probably another $100 or so of additional costs for this or that in there too with this project - well with the savings imo.

 

Yeah, lucky for me, I work with companies that do tint/ wraps, so one of the owners of one is getting me the material at his cost and said if I have beer on hand, he'll bring tools and come help me do the install.

Exactly. I was stoked when he said he'd help. Said since I have no bumpers or tailgate it'll take 4hrs or so depending on beer intake
