The problem is more compression than rebound. He doesn't have enough compression to absorb that hard of a landing and he's bottoming out hard. Running enough compression to absorb that landing isn't really practical because the truck will ride way too stiff for everything else.

The way to mitigate this is to have a secondary bypass shock that gets progressively stiffer (more compression) through its stroke.

You may be right, but from what I see I believe he doesnt have enough compression damping. Im assuming he just has a coilover with 600lb springs and stock valving. Either he grabs some bypasses or valves the coilover cause he will start breaking shit. Ask me how I know lol.

He needs both, more comp and rebound valving, is he just running a c/o? Bumpstops?

That's what I was thinking, he could probably use more of each

For a jump that size he would be fine with just c/os with the right valving

dude, you are not kidding. it's so weird not hearing a million noises while driving and the engine not screaming at me when i lay on the gas...

yeah, the front end is very wide and since i took off the bumper it just looks wider... paint is drying on the stock bumper i'm gonna put back on for time being.

yup, everything is rattled loose from my subs, tires arent smooth, and the loud muffler makes the truck vibrate at idle since it comes out underneath the rear seats. my truck is always loud because its a flowmaster super 10 and then above 3K RPMs the intake kicks in and its even louder, GAH sometimes i just want a stock truck:p or better yet a car :)

sweet, what happend with the TT front bumper look?

okay so i kinda got a dilema.

i was going to do rear lt first, because the front out performs the rear. but since i got my back bumper with 180 lbs of tires and rims in a 100lb bumper, i have no down travel in the front, if that makes sence....

so as of right now the rear actually out performs the front.. should i do the front first?
