Who has tubbed their fenderwells?
Cab mount relocations?

Looking to clear lock/bump for 35's

 

Not yet, but gonna get my tub on when I get my dd. Cab mount shouldn't need relocating for 35's, just cut it back as far as it can.

 

I did it on the third gen I built. To fit 35's . They don't come with any room for 35's on the top fenderwell. I had to do a lot of cutting and sheetmetal work to cover it back up instead of cutting it all off and remounting. For the firewall I had to I think cut back the body and do sheet metal work there too. But never got an issue in the cab mount, but did do a Cab mount chop.

 

You don’t need to do anything to the cab mount besides cut it. My 37’s are no where near the cab mount.

The rest of it’s a different story.

Oh I didn’t do anything yet. Just hammered everything back as far as I could. I have no desire to tub the front.

Yeah that guy does amazing work.

 

Not my truck, but going to try the same thing soon. Just got my wheels back from powder this weekend. Still a couple things to do before I can mount the suspension and start cycling to see what needs to get cut.

 

I've seen LSK and Solo sell fenderwells for other trucks so it's not surprising to see that rust lab has done similar

Just curious if they kept a design template to make it again or if they do it from scratch every time

 

what one should i go with ? and how do you guy have yours mounted

 

i think im just going to wait and save money for the dmz kit and stop trying to short cut things

 

Go with the ProEagle, the detachable dick extension comes in handy ..

 

what bump stops are those in the front?
