Best to check when the rear is fully articulated cause the axle will swing some either way with leaf springs...I had to notch my frame because of this when I still had a frame lol

According to Tim at DMZ you can mount the shock 1/2" from the frame and it won't rub. His words.

Yea my frame is already notched so may have to open it a bit more by the resi, or overall. gonna have to see if I can get some 3.0s to test fit. If not probably get them on and do some extra clearance from there. We shall see :fingerscrossed:

I believe mine are mounted about 1" from the frame and can confirm that with that, the shocks will not rub the frame. 2" wheel spacers and all bypasses layed out forward and the tire won't rub the shocks either.

Camburg told me to slather them in red loctite. I said I didn't want to have to take a torch to them but he said you can use red loctite on big suspension bolts like that because you can get big breaker bars on them unlike smaller bolts, so fire isn't needed. I'm gonna slather in blue just so I don't have to deal with pulling out a big ass breaker bar lol, but I agree, next LT I buy will have built in Uniballs.

Since my version 1s seem to have failed (bent and cracked) Version 2 uppers or goin for all the beef lol. 1.5x.25" DOM boxed in with 3/16" plate and overplayed top and bottom with 3/16". If these fail the arms were ripped off along with the frame of the truck lol

Those are sexy! Nice work! You have a fancy tube bender or just a JD2 with a ram?

Well I got the model 32 with the bigger pins...it says it can bend 2" .25 wall....I was using my roommates model 3 to bend this since he has a 1.5 die and it did it no prob
