Yeah I plan to get it all on and cycle it.
I even got them to give me the kit without powdercoat so I could fix/mod anything I wanted to change before final instal (then I’ll Cerakote it all)

Ya know, just in case I want to add a tab to something or in my case cause of where I live, drill a drain hole in the shock pockets so they don’t hold water and crap

Why remove the whole shock tower and UCA mounting points?

From what Bobby told me you just have to cut off the hat of the shock tower and a little extra... not everything.

Thank you for digging up a picture though tbasch

Mine is a little bit different, but there are a couple reasons. First is anti-dive and getting rid of the factory quantity of anti-dive. For me the truck was bought on auction and one of the shock towers was twisted....

    That makes more sense.

I wouldn’t cut that much because I don’t have the skill or experience to solve the anti dive anyway

Anyone know the necessary specs for the normal solo lt kings? I’d rather order some off filthy than pay 1500 for them at solo. Thanks!

Pretty sure they are. I think he’s thinking of the xlt. Most all +3.5 kits run an 8”

Depends on how much weight you have up front. I have a heavy bumper and wanted more ride ht because I do some crawling with mine so I run 700, but 600 or 650 are pretty common as well

How much anti-dive are you going to put on when you rebuild?

They make money on them but most non-volume retailers charge about the same. You can find some used 8" coilovers and save money depending on how close the specs are. I think they probably use the same specs as other 3.5 kits but don't quote me on that since I don't know much about 2nd gen lt's.
