Long Travel BS Thread

I got the sdhq boots without punctures so far. I’m sure you could have similar results with either though.

 

I blew an outer CV in an SDHQ boot and it stayed together

I like them

 

thinking about selling my truck or doing a trade with someone truck for truck no bullshit

 

im running SDHQ boots, i have a tear in one and its 90% my fault for using the wrong inner clamp.

 

Sdhq are the only new boots I install

 

Why?

 

need the money / kinda want something new and different

Shit I thought you just threw some money into it? Is it just not doing what you wanted? I only ask cause f that shit I love my truck and it really makes me feel proud whenever it sees dirt.

love the truck alot but need the money but ya i just dropped like 1500 on the truck hahah

 

only going to sell it if i get what i want for it, if not going to keep it. Run it into the ground.

 

Just keep it if you can... I've almost sold my truck a few times for the sole reason it pissed me off that somthin wasn't workin right lol... but you step back and look how much time you've put into it and your own style into it you'll be glad to keep it. I dunno that's how I feel about mine anyway...its a science project hobby usually keeps me out of most trouble lol and they're conversation pieces too, I've met alot of really cool people (couple hoes) because of it. Soo I mean I'd say try to keep it if ya can

That how i feel right now hahah nothing going my way and it need more money to be how i want it.... and i just dropped money on my new place so it going to be about a year before i can fix it up more maybe less then a year ....

 

Well think of it this way, you can be kinda not happy with it for the next year, but still have it to enjoy until you can make t better, or sell it and have nothing for the next year, and then start from scratch. Unless it’s going to take a full do-over to make it what you want, you might as well keep it. Saves you the hassle of finding another truck to begin the next build with. Unless you really need the money, and sometimes in life, that’s what you need.

 

i guess for now i will keep it ....and see what happens cuz if i did sell it i would want 13-15k for it at lease i would be out like 10k

 

This is the answer right here. Mine didn't happen over night and I had to wait roughly a year to get the rear end that I wanted just due to saving and life and crap. I think many LT guys take years to get their rigs where they want...I don't think you are the only one in this boat.

 

If you can honestly turn away from ever owning a second gen again...then go for it. Being LT, no way could I sell unless I KNEW I had another LT platform to go into. If not, I will just buy another ride when I need to.
