It all started from a simple boot blister that festered almost overnight and got way out of hand fast. Before I know it they chopped er off man, almost died of sepsis and shit fuckin nuts

 

Jeez man I'm surprised you didn't end up on the news with the savageness of that shit. Glad you are still alive brother! I bet the department shit themselves when they heard about this.

 

Yea it was a shock for sure but everyone is super cool about it and since its mellow for us helicopter dudes this time of year work coverage isn't stressfull..and I should make a full recovery...just one of lifes speed bumps man...just kinda wish I was in my truck when I hit it

 

Got to admit man, one hell of a positive attitude about it considering how recent all of this is. Ha life is always been in the ride.

 

Shit bro that’s gnarly ! I had a similiar issue on my wrist after a multi day rock climbing trip. I had a blister under the tape on my wrist and it turned into gnarly cellulitis in just a couple days. They had to chop out a one inch square of skin and dig out all of the infected goop and I had to take that gnarly antibiotic cipro for a couple weeks. Ever since then if I get a blister I rip it open and bury it in Neosporin

 

Yea basically similar situation but the bone got infected and just got me good

 

so new engine mount are in but im getting the same thing i think i rolled in my frame a little bet ?

looking at how on my truck at both ends are not even and how my bottom mount is touching the metal cover making my truck vibrate more

Ahhh I gotcha yea shit I'd say ur frame is a lil twisted. Might be able to get it on a frame rack and get er twisted back. Or you could try a set of solid mounts and muscle em in there since they pivot like a bushing leaf spring control arm setup instead of the motor sitting on a big rubber floating donut...thennnnn after solid mounts or a frame tweak back you need a crossover brace fo sho

 

It’s nice to know other people are going through weird shit too... just a couple weeks back after I flipped my truck I got this weird raised skin lookin thing on my groin and then what looked like a scratch on my peck. Fast forward a week later and it was twice as swollen all over my body and itchy now and my face started to swell on my left side like 4x it’s normal size and I could swish the fluid around in my check. We thought it was cellulitis but it could have also been both an allergy and an infection. We still don’t know what caused it. Hands down definitely the scariest thing that has ever happened to me... fuck with my body but leave my face alone :/ glad you guys are recovering!

What do you guys use to lube up your heims? Just super lube?

 

Honestly it's a waste of time...the joint is already teflon lined and self lubricating...oiling em only attracts dirt and wears em out quicker. And hhiems usually dont squeak it's the bushing pivots that do...my 2 cents anyway.

But if you insist on lubricating them only a teflon base lube like triflow... if you put any other petroleum base lube on there itll swell the teflon liner and wear the joint out in a heartbeat

What did you guys do with your intake hole? Lol, went to the Dezert this weekend and a shot ton of rocks got inside. Thinking of putting a wire mesh screen on?
