thanks guys, we still need to add all gussets, and change up the sandwhich plates a bit. its not going to be score legal anyways so it doesnt need to be perfect. the only major thing i think i would need to change is the a-b pillar tubes

    MJP2,

Can you dump all the pictures you have of your cage in this thread? I'm starting to plan out my cage and could some examples.

What did you do for the body mounts in order to prevent the cab from flexing and hitting the cage?

LOL the page would never load. :p

Check here: I did nothing with the body mounts and have had no issues with them flexing.

it was my jackass fault haha, i thought a/b pillar was driver and passenger side haha. it still looks good and im pretty dam positive it would hold up in a roll over, just not race ready you know?

not trying to change them, but if i wanted to race thats the main thing i would need to change.

Ive always figured with your style cage mounts that is more than strong enough to double as cab mounts too. Your whole cage is tied in to your cab so it should be fine.

i thought the same thing when i left my last cab soft mounted and put a cage in. just hope the sheet metal doesnt start splitting. the only real place i had an issue with splitting was where the cage came out of the back of the cab. yours came through the window so i think you saved yourself from the trouble spot.

you also need to plate the cab to the cage in a few spots up top, other wise it will flex and start tearing out the bottem mounts, trust me, seen it happen many times
