    Whole lotta stuff
Those of you, if I’m not certain all of you, running bypasses, how much of a chore or pain is it to adjust your tubes? ADS bypasses here with bout 3k miles on them. About 2k ago I adjusted my 2nd compression tube by loosening the 9/16” nylock nut, loosened the 1/4” stud, and then retightened the lock nut. Now, 2k miles later I’ve added a bumper and want to close the tubes a little for the weight, they are unbelievably tight. After cutting more wheel liner I muscled the rebound tube tighter about 3 turns. When I went to do the compression they wouldn’t budge. I tried with the truck jacked up and on the ground to no avail. The 9/16” lock nut was tight as well I stopped when one began to round. Is it supposed to be this much trouble?

Jacked up or not shouldn’t matter. Make sure the lock nut is very loose. Use a 6 point socket or wrench to minimize the chance of rounding. With the lock nut loose, the “stud” should move quite easily.

Want to get some powerful, but small-ish lights. Been looking at the KC flex - already have 2 baja design squadron sports for fogs, a couple knock off pods and a 20" KC dual row but I may not use the 20" since it's bigger than a lot of newer lights w/ the same or better output. Don't want to spend $400, just depends on the light I guess.

Any goals you want the lights to achieve? Like flood, spot, distance, driving? I wonder if rigid would have something although I mainly run baja stuff.

So I have the squadron sports in amber / flood down where fog lights would be normally, so basically illuminating far head and sides of the trail.

Ha thats funny man I got the LP6 Pros in the spot config for that exact purpose although I know those are a little out of your budget. I think Rigid makes some side shooter ones that could work well for your application...I think they even come in white.

I actually have those extra cubes I can point to the side so I guess yeah just distance. I also want small lights I can mount in / behind my grill since theft is not unlikely where I live - even still I plan on at least using torx bolts for attaching the light to the bracket and tack welding the bolts that mount the bracket to the truck. I'm also into the style that I see on the big luxo builds where all the lights are smoothly fit into the bumper and grill. Just being 100 haha

    A thing or two...
Have you looked at the KC Garage Sale thread? They have 1st gen dual light, spot pattern FLEXs for $90, so $180 for a pair. They're about halfway down the first post.

Post 76 is where they were added to the garage sale, and @Taylor@KC HiLiTES mentioned that they'd do a 20% discount on the wiring harness if you ordered a pair of them. Deals on ditch light brackets was also mentioned if you order everything together.

lol guess what page I was viewing just now. Looking at the flex lights - I think that's all I'll need either in 10" or dual pods.

My tools have about 6 HF tool bags that they live in since my truck is in my neighbor's driveway and there's no garage to store tools in lol

That's on 2nd / 3rd gens. Nice clean fix for sure. I think the last guy before @MESO was asking about a 1st gen w/ 7-8" bedsides though.

@RedManRocket I worked on my neighbor's Chevy the other day replacing the fuel pump and this is what I think should work on ours if we cut the filler neck in half somewhere that makes sense to.

Thanks man. I caught the market sleeping and somehow scored a winner.

Back yard is equally baller, and has a 2 car garage with a 3 car driveway. Plenty of room for new projects

Just some fuel hose going from the fill door to the gas tank held on with hose clamps in a Suburban. If it works for GM in an 03 it works for me lol. Napa should have all the sizes you'd possibly need to fit around the neck and evap if there's one.
