People are cheap and think more with their wallets than their brain sometimes, guys are thirsty to go LT, I’m sure someone would buy your solo kit. Without knowing the issues it’s hard to say what your best option is. If you decide to go TC hit me up. I can probably help you out a little on price.

As someone who had a solo xlt kit...mine was flawless...but that was my kit. It was night and day above my current TC race kit (and I have zero complaints w/ TC).

Anyone deal with loud bushings and find a fix? I’ve lubed them and put them back on only to get the noise again after a few hours of driving. I’m wondering if I should take a new center metal sleeve about 1/16” longer so that it’s not getting torqued on the bushings themselves?

How long have they been on there? Maybe there is some slight warpage that is causing the noise? Typically lube will quiet my stuff down for a little while.

I’ve had them on for just under a year. At first I thought I had them over torqued so I backed everything off a little which didn’t fix it. I’m wondering if others with a SUA setup are dealing with these kinds of noises or is it just mine? I have a feeling the bushings are not supposed to be pinched in the hanger as much as they are which is causing the dry sound. The lube only lasts for a day or a pressure washing and then the noise is back.

I feel my sua kit squeaks no matter what I do. Some days it's better, some it's worse. I kinda just got used to it

What kit do you have? I remember when I first had my TC SUA MT kit and went wheeling for the first time it got grimmy from a bunch of deep water on the trail. That squeak never left although it was likely cause i just didnt want to remove the leaf just to remove the noise. I would guess if it was overtorqued that you might have caused the bushing to deform to a degree. If that is the case, then loosening it will either get it to shape back to original form if you are lucky, but might have permanently warped it. I have noticed with bushings you want just enough to be within tension, but not deform.

My DMZ kit isnt very loud until it cycles slowly over crawling type of stuff...at speed it probably speaks as well, but I never hear it.

My chic always thinks my shit is going to blow up...which is funny in a way.

I had issues with my xlt kit but they were helpful to get them figured out for the most part, and I didn’t even buy the kit direct from them. It’s 50/50 what you’ll get if you want it done with them call and call and drive up there and have it handled don’t wait around cuz they’ll push it off

What kind of grease you using? Not all of it is going to be quiet. Tacky stuff squeaks.

I like to use Lithium based Moly grease. Never makes noise.

Yea I’ve been the biggest pain in the ass to them calling and calling cause I don’t want to be put off. I’m pretty sure Bobby set up a contact for my number cause I bug them so often haha. I’d rather be annoying than put off though.
