Just kidding - I totally respect how your keep your truck super nice. I don’t post on here as much as I used to so you may not have felt the vibe I intended.

Speed bumps, pot holes, and train tracks are all the action 98% of trucks see anyway. You've got a clean build, you like it, and you're not pretending to be something else.

    Let 'em hate.

Private property. Cops can't legally enforce speed limits, or stop signs. So unless you're going to stop for Paul Blart...

What do you guys use for nav in the dirt? Thinking about a stand alone gps unit so I don't have to rely on cell phone "gps".

The first time I learned about Gaia was in the middle of 29 palms and the lead guy radioed saying he didn't know how to get back to camp because his phone lost gps.

It's a great support tool. Hoping someone can provide feedback on a good Garmin or lowrance display.

You never ‘lose’ gps on your phone, you lose cell service and the ability to download updated map data. Find an old iPad (I use a gen 1 mini) and fill that thing with predownloaded maps, I have about 100gb saved and basically all off AZ, UT and NV in there. If you’re concerned about signal (Most apple products draw from 2 or 3 sats standard) add a Dual GPS puck and boom fully functional GPS for under $100 in most cases.

Gaia offers like 50 map options that you can download and layer, I use a combo of sat images, standard ilistrated and USGS topo. Nice thing is you can control how big the area is and how detailed you can get by zooming in or out when you download. More detailed the map the bigger the file tho.

Lowrance is solid nd reliable, but they’re big and bulky. Ran one in my 2nd gen for over 8 years with a PCI topo card and never had an issue. I did pair it with an iPad for the last few years which eventually became my primary option and all I run in the new truck.

Anyone happen to have OE license plate lights they are not using? I'm missing both.

Also looking for the factory bed side supports that aren't used if you go to a HC rear bumper.
