Also what front bumper is that. I'm looking to go from more of an offroad setup to prerunner, lose the winch etc.

Price difference is minimal until you take into account that you'll need to replace the fenders all around.. i do think 3" of extra width would be a nuissance on a daily, so i think im gonna shoot for a +2 setup

I am probably sticking with the stock fenders all around, but i may go spring under out back. Just going to do a mild SUA setup though. Shock relocate and 14s or whatever i can stuff under the bed without cutting through it. Just trying to make this a do a little of everything truck, but still be able to use it for a daily or truck stuff. I never tow anything and it's a 4 banger so no issues there going SUA. Have any pics of your setup with stock fenders?

Does it have more bump steer when hitting large bumps? or what's the main difference there? thanks for the info, this makes me feel better about the streetability of it

No doubt a 3.5 setup would look and perform better in the dirt but man it seems like that extra track width would get annoying after a while in the city driving. Is it something you get used to?

Do you daily yours by chance? Curious of what the pros/cons of dailying a 3.5 kit would be

Looks like Dezert Toy Fab, but i am curious too now

I daily mine, 20 minute commute to work so not bad, no complaints though. Granted it’s only been about 3 weeks so far but I love it

    Money
I'm not the type of person you have to say if you have to ask you cant afford it, I was simply thinking of taking my truck in a new direction and wanted some real world input on what to expect.

I won’t weigh in on the +2 vs 3.5 but going to +2 on mine made no difference to it’s daily driver manners. If u go TC tho get the new Expedition series... better turning radius

My story is similar to others mentioned earlier. I got +2 because I originally didn't want glass and also got a sweet deal on it. Now that I'm spring-under, fully glassed and running a bedcage with 2.5x16" triple bypasses...I want +3.5 lol

my +2 kit was good but i preferred the driving feel of the stock width. But that was 100% of the lack of caster in my +2 kit.

My 3.5 kit drives amazing, although now i think i need to replace my steering rack bushings or the rack itself.

    Cant speak to the +2 kit (first gen here) but going from MT to LT daily driver, some things Ive noticed;
    - very minor change in steering due to track width
    - lots of weird creaks, groans, clicks, squeaks and pops of the suspension
    - lack of function w/ bedcage/soft suspension (towing/hauling)
    - snowball effect of breaking/fixing/upgrading/wanting more
    - strain on components (steering, frame, body)

I grew tired of these things and the lack of use as it being my DD, which led me to this debate of going back to stock or MT. Would I do it again? Not for a daily driver...

I daily drive my DCLB with a 3.5 kit, glass all around and a decent built SOA rear.
    I’d say THIS:

I don’t think a 2” kit would be much different, with the exception if you go with TC swaybar, and no glass.
Fiberglass fenders make highways louder, the body roll can be an issue if you have a VSC equipped truck, as I do. The exposed uniballs squeal like holy hell if you don’t lube them regularly. Everything creaks now.
That said... to ME, the truck is totally daily drivable.
It does not drive or handle like a stock truck in any situation, but that’s also why we pay $$$$ isn’t it ? :D

I try to do it every time I wash the truck, or at least every month.
I use tri-flow dry lube, handy as it’s small & fits in the center console

If you can't find the CRC brand, I've had good luck using this by WD-40. I also daily drive my truck and doesn't bother me one bit...I have the camburg kit (uni-balls and no bushings, heimed uppers).
