You can use the same clips that he’s using on the spindle and have good results too. Looking around it looks like bigger trucks and sand rails / buggies run them where you're saying.

Full sizes just have bigger parts. That truck's running 37-40" tires. One limit strap is fine for people that aren't drooping out tons.

@Arcticelf remember the mezzanine rearend Bronco - just shows it’s knowing how to make something rather than having only one that is the best. If you link your truck I’m sure your setup will be awesome. Hopefully your leaf setup is good too.

also @Happysmiley ’s new truck is a cantilever link setup which has been working pretty nice too.

Mark Newhan has a few posts pretty far down on his instagram where he goes through the common racetruck suspensions over the years. Iirc he mention the mezzanine style was set to be the standard for a little while when trophy trucks and the big class 8s were starting to take off. And quarter elliptical springs like old horse and buggies had was i big thing for a little while too

 

I was thinking those links looked familiar lol. I have the 48”s too, I ended up around 25” travel, yours looks pretty similar. Difference is your front end looks killer! Are you going to end up a little longer wheelbase than stock?

 

Things are freaking beefy. I hope I can squeezy that much, well see with the bigger shocks what it comes out to. but id be happy with it strapped at 24. truck is stretched 4-6 inches I believe. The TT bedsides are between a short bed and long bed.

yeah just test fit the hood, it does touch but I’m just gonna crop out a bit of the middle rib to clear, gotta make room for that supercharger in the future.

 

24” linked with big shocks will be plenty, once it’s all tuned you’ll be happy

 

That’s definitely a little high. Are you just doing the coilover cross over or adding more? There’s room for more with the s/c but it is tight
