 Me too. Your rig is looking great btw. I’m excited to join the 2+ gang as well, because that articulation looks very much improved with the 934s. Are those 35s you’re running?

For you first gen folks, what are you doing up front for bump stops? Got everything torn apart and currently weighing my options.

    :bananadead:

On my Taco 2" bumps set up for a kit with more up travel than most. On my 3rd gen 4runner just poly bumps.

I'd look at provisions for adding a secondary shock instead of an air bump, otherwise just do stock poly style bump stops like the ones listed.

Hey guys. Forgive the ignorance of a novice of how valving pistons works, but I'm looking at some shocks and they say they are valved for 500-compression and 1500-rebound. I know that's related to how they are shim'd but what is that terms of a baseline tune? I don't know what is light or heavy. I'm just starting my research.

Who’s the manufacturer? That’s not nomenclature I’m familiar with.

Bilstein 7100s. Looking at their 14s to sit in as a place-holder to get me back in the dirt before I revise the rear of the truck.

Edit: Since they’re universal doubt the valving matters so much.

Who cares what valving is in there for a crap shock? Save your money and throw a steel rod in place and order up some real shocks.

Would love to. Just not sure what I’m doing with the rear of the truck yet. And the market for bypasses is pretty good right now.

waiting on 8” shocks and 934 axles for a 2+ up front then I’m going to pull the swing out off the back and see where I’m at with the mid travel rear. I want to get rear setup right, just not sure when that will be.

Hi, new to the LT gang. Do you guys recommend standard 12”rear shocks or bypass shocks? Thank you. Don’t flame me lol

Depends on what they are installed with, how much money you've got, and how much clearance you're going to have

well they won’t be going through my bed if that’s what you’re asking? It’ll be getting mounted with archive garage rear shock relocate.

    money is no issue.

Spring over or spring under? Either way you’ll get better performance out of a bypass
