    Thanks for that. Just ordered a set of the cheapie chinese method race wheels. I figure at $140 a pop they are disposable and won't hurt the wallet when I destroy them.

    Also the grabbers have extra meat at the corners of the tread block, but are a little thinner than bfg's in the sidewall and center section.

    I know sdhq runs method race wheels on their bug and haven't had an issue with them.

    Bug=2000lbs and slow
    Taco=4000lbs and not slow

    Pretty sure I'm going to destroy them. Their forged beadlocks might last a little longer, but at $650 a wheel I will never find out for myself. I came to the conclusion that disposable is better for non race applications. Lighter weight, less cost, and I don't have to fuck with replacing broken beadlock bolts.

    Very true. Have you tried the KMC enduros? they are cheap and some of the thicker wheels that I have seen.

    Haven't tried them but they're all cast in china and can't take a boulder at 80+mph. I've gone through 8 KM2's and several wheels in the last year or so, and the wheels would have been done even if they were expensive forged pieces.

    That thing is really nice. Its probably one of the most low profile Toyotas ever built. It was for sale on Race Dezert for almost a year. The for sale ad is not up anymore though. It had an 80-90k price tag.
