Any reason why I couldn’t put uca double shear gussets on a stock length front suspension?
Like any differences in ucas in LT kits if i were to go that route ?

You could use them for any UCA's if you base your installation off of the arms. Sometimes from one brand to another a slight difference in overall width will make you either have to fill in a gap, grind, or add a little filler here or there. Some brands won't fit once you put the gussets in so I would definitely figure out the long term goal. I've cut one set out and it's kind of a pita.

No reason you couldn’t do that.

Plan is +2 at some point but not looking to spend 6k$+ just yet. Wanted to do the lca pivot next and just trying to find a good order of tackling some things while the suspension was of. Probably put this off for now thanks

Right on. If i go lt itll be their 2.25. Otherwise it will be their arms to match the pivots so makes sense

can definitely attest it is a pita… switching from different companies lt kits and the new one was like 1/4” wider on the uca’s so had to cut them out completely and start over.

Hey question for anyone with cages, what’s your general rule of thumb for wearing helmets? Tried asking in the jd fab thread and got no where.

If I'm in a vehicle with a cage I wear one. Mostly because it seems like the vehicles with cages I've been in there are tubes within head shot range.

Out here we do not wear helmets unless we are at dirtfest were it is required. We definitely run our trucks pretty hard. Is that the smartest way to be, maybe not but that is what we do.

It is literally in the products discussed below...heres the link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073SVF23L
They have them at Kartek too. These are a 1 inch uniballs (inner ID is 1 inch) but the outer diameter is 2.125

Or do you have Heimed uppers?? and that is what you are looking for? If that is the case then they are FK-JMX12T This is a 3/4x3/4 right hand threaded heim

TerraCrew: Where a "built to destroy" episode consists of guessing every shock size, travel numbers and shoutout companies who are "the homies". Instead of letting the owner openly talk about their truck without interrupting them

lol I guess they need a delegate from here to host episodes about Tacomas, Blake for buggies, and the Eisenhouers for ford / trophy truck stuff.
