Yeah very true. There’s a bunch of little nuances that’ll come with time but overall it’s not too difficult to just get on the road and get moving.

-Maintaining appropriate Speed and Following distance are the best ways to prevent an accident
-Drive the rear trailer tires. ie watch the rear tires and get them around obstacles and then fronts will usually be fine
-having a big convex mirror is very helpful for watching rear tires
-go further into an intersection and turn sharper, rather than swinging wide into the left lane if you can. When making a right turn, the stop bars on adjacent outside lanes of big intersections are offset back to allow this. Swinging wide can expose your inside and somehow people see that as an opportunity to turn inside you
-on the same note, lane placement before turning is important too. When making a right turn, being 6" over to the left side of the lane can make a big difference
    -watch your trans temps
    -stay under 10k trailer weight

These are just some of my tips for towing/driving anything long

She’s alive! Got some finishing touches, but I don’t have words for how crazy fun that was to drive. Insanely smooth travel. I’ve never been in anything like it. Leaf springs aren’t even in the same spectrum. I didn’t know the back was there. Super fun going fast, too. I’m totally blown away.

Mad respect for a guy who jumps in with both feet and does this in his garage. I wish I could but I need space, tools and daily before I do anything crazy.

Time for those 37s when you wear the tires out. Gotta keep pushing forward as much as you've come! Makes me want to get in the Jeep and ride now. 100% sure you should come on our trip. I'll promise you one thing with the trip you'll see me flopped if we go on lions den just sayin' it'll be a hoot.
This truck is barely scraping the iceberg of what he's doing in real life. I'm glad to call him a friend and seeing this stuff first hand he's pushing himself hard and learning quickly. You're right on target with the mad respect also a little bit of jealousy from me.

Those three things plus a patient wife make it easier for sure. It’s been fun to learn something new. I’m ready to beat the shit out of it now haha

Those 35’s are looking tiny without a bed haha I appreciate you letting me pick your brain. Need to come back down when I have some good hill climbs built :stirthepot: that’ll be my next fun project if wifey will let me. Got a feeling I’m going to be working on the house for a while though haha

You got a lot of house to work on. It's nice though and that hilltop view is awesome. My favorite part of the house is the facing toilets though gotta keep them

True but it's a hell of a nice house. There could of been some things done which you're doing that are softening and warming it up.

    Whole lotta stuff
Got tired of waiting on Locked. Was in the right place and right time to pick these up locally. Gotta switch some misalignments and maybe the rod ends but I’m pretty jazzed to have gotten a deal on ADS for the front. They’re wearing 18x500lb springs so I’ll be taking a page out of @EatSleepTacos book for now. Hoping that’s not too light, being a DCLB.
