As was already mentioned there's a bunch of shops that sell prebuilt brackets. If you don't have a plasma table it's probably more time efficient to find what you want from one of them.
    Artec
    Ballistic fab
    Ruffstuff
    Barnes4wd
    TMR
    Bunch of others

Most of the brackets I've got are from Barnes and ballistic. I wasn't impressed with what I got from ballistic, some of the brackets weren't square, it shouldn't be an issue but they are one of the more expensive supply shops. Based on what I've received from ballistic I wouldn't order anything from them unless it is exactly what you need.

As far as I've seen most of those "kits" shops offer aren't really set up well for our trucks, looked like they are mainly for old light weight trucks or buggies, it seems to me it's better to figure out exactly what you want and order everything separately.

Anybody that’s ever got glass through fiberwerx, are they typically good at sticking to lead times? When I ordered 6 weeks ago they said it would ship in 3. I’m quickly nearing the start of this build, and glass fitment is going to be my first stage.

I only have experience with Ruff Stuff, but their dual triangulated kit fit surprisingly well. I got the Toyota mini truck upper bracket by accident and it fit the axle like a glove. All my angled brackets are dead on, too. I guess my links and angles are close to what the masses do, I don’t know. Originally was going to go with Barnes, but they were four weeks out on some simple tube adapters…RuffStuff sent a bad heim and had to send a front bracket, but other than that it was pretty smooth.

My Fiberwerx lead time was 6 weeks and they hit the mark on the nose but this doesn't surprise me at all because I'm having trouble even getting resin right now. Our local auto body supply shop is lucky to get 1 gallon per week.

Are you doing the JD Fab inner fenders ? If so I would not not waste your time with any fitment before doing those, nothing wrong with the inners but in my experience the Fiberwerx fenders take a ton of fitment work and if anything is ie: an 1/8" different from OE it is going to affect how you trim and fit every aspect of the fenders & if you move a 1/16th at the door jamb all of your fitment work at the headlight will be toast or visa versa...

I do have the JD inners ready to rock. So that was going to be part of the fitment process. I have a ton of fitment work regardless of what I do. I am doing a full 3rd gen conversion.

Not sure how much you care about body lines and gaps etc but if you do order a few gallons of this now :

We already have some on the shelf. Luckily, my dad has been in the body game for over 40 years so at the very least I have some experience backing me. But regardless, I know we are in for some fun.

If you install glass first you'll still be having to check for clearance at bump so you'll be making a mess twice. My glass was ready on time, but anything past a year ago is irrelevant now. Mid race season plus lots of people at least where I am are quarantining so idk if that's the case in MX but it won't be helping at any rate if they are.

To me, the order is kind of irrelevant. Glass has to be on regardless to check clearance. I feel the most time consuming part of this entire build will be fitting glass, so it seemed like the best place to start.

You shouldn't have any clearance issues if you are on 35's with +6 glass. I've got JD's +4 kit and 2" spacers on the rear end and everything clears the glass at full stuff & lock to lock

I'm on 37's now with a pretty hefty offset so it will be iffy. Depending on how it all fits I've been considering a new set of wheels and going back to 35's. Thats pretty much the reason I want the glass on ASAP, that way whenever my front kit shows up I can get to work on that.

Lol you just said you wanted to do the glass first and now you’re saying order is irrelevant. Imo hard parts first and cosmetic stuff last is the way to go. Sometimes you gotta do what you can based on your availability of parts too.

The main reason I want to do the glass first is because I'm not 100% confident I have everything needed to make the conversion work. So I want a head start in the event I need to order more stuff. I'm fairly confident I've ordered everything for suspension. I see no difference in the order of things here.

If you plan on going hard it might be a good idea to build some custom mounts too.

That is part of the plan. That however will wait until the suspension is in so I don't bone myself.

Bolt in Alcan springs and some relocated Icon 2.5's I put together for them for now. It works well enough.

I have some King 2.5 2 Tube 14's I may squeeze in the wheel wells down the road.

Is there an easy way to extend the stock fuel lines in a second gen? I’m keeping the same sender since it “fits” my fuel cell. Just need some more length and I don’t know what will work with these crazy looking quick connects.
