Question for the group, specifically anyone who has done the JD inner fenders. Ever since I put in the inner fenders I've been having this reoccurring issue.

If the engine bay gets wet (drive through a big puddle, take the truck to a car wash, etc) the windshield wipers kick on full blast and I can't get them to turn off. Eventually they stop themselves but it takes awhile. I'm assuming I pinched a wire or exposed a circuit somewhere during the install but not sure where to start. Any input is appreciated!

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Been too busy installing the dual cases to switch the front coils until yesterday.

    20230128_172643.jpg 20230129_154438.jpg

But the answer to the dilemma I was having with the 650# 16 inch coils having a gap to the preload collar at full droop was DEFINATELY 550# 18 inch coils.

    20230203_174659.jpg

I'm at bearly any preload and ride height appears to be where I want it. But I need to mount all the skid plates and take another look.

Now to build the transfer case skid and hopefully get the front adjusted a bit more before we leave for Hammers on Wednesday.

I’m finally very happy with my truck! HD70 with an added leaf then #5 removed. Handled everything I threw at it and the ride was very good.

Hey anyone know of someone with some front cv outers or anything at the lake bed at hammers? Need to turn my truck into 2wd and need a set of outers for the bearings. @Airdog @81Trekker

What was the purpose behind doing an added lead and then removing #5? You may have answered this before but I don't recall.

I had plain 70's and they held no weight, I talked to Jeff at Deaver and with the weight of the truck and adding 700lbs of off-road weight that adding a spring to the 70HD's was the ticket. My off-road weight turned out to be much less and I was too sprung. Being to lightly sprung for so long it's nice to have some extra leaf's with spring in them for sag down the line.

no I never checked plunge on my 934’s with the way my lt is….huge mistake. Popped the drivers side axle out of the 934. Been in contact with Harry, gonna figure out how this even happened and what I gotta do to get it working again but just gonna make my truck 2wd for the time I’m here. And I ended up picking up a set of axles in yucca for like 67 a piece at oreillys so just gotta cut them up and throw them in today.
