    Yes
pretty sure that was Zac’s truck and that is the filler for his JD fab auxiliary tank. JD has links to all of those accessories on the page for that aux tank kit

Borrowing the brains in this thread: folks with 3rd gens, how are you disabling your airbags? I was wheeling with a friend and their side curtain airbag blew on an incline and insurance totaled it. I’d rather not have that happen but it looks like pulling a fuse is the only option and that isn’t super elegant.

Pulling the fuse is the SAFEST because it makes it an open circuit
Most cases people have time to pull the fuse before off-roading
    But
You could wire in a switch to the fuse
But if you do that, and you have a on the street accident
You’re gonna be high and dry with your insurance

Nope, RCSA button doesn’t exist on the 3rd gen. Googling suggests it remains energized even with the fuse pulled because it has a backup shared with the ignition fuse.

guess I just try not get too tippy ;)

Dont airbags have a capacitor that hold a charge so even if you pull a fuse they will go off on impact?

They’re dual fused (second leg off the ignition) and also have a capacitor. I think disabling them without doing so permanently is probably an L on a 3rd gen without RSCA off.

Gotcha, makes sense. Do higher trims have an RSCA button? My sr5 doesn't.

2nd gens did, I guess. The SR5 doesn’t have an accelerometer to trigger the side curtain air bags on off camber angles.

What spring rates do y'all recommend? I have a 3rd gen Tacoma access cab. I'll have about 180ish pounds in the front (winch and bumper) and I like to jump. I'll be getting 8" fox 2.5. I've heard people recommending anywhere from 550 18" to 700 16"

JD told me to run 550x18’s with a similar weight and so I stopped looking because my brain glazed over at all of the opinions ;)

Only thing is that I've ran 600lb with the same weight but with mid travel coilovers on 3.5" control arms. And that was a lil too soft. But I bet with 8" shocks it feels way different

Don’t know if this is actually accurate, but I’ve read that if there is any fault in the airbag circuit, none of them will deploy. There are airbags in both of your front seats, so you could just unplug either of the seats and disable your entire airbag system.

Need custom hoses made for the shocks, fab and mounts for bumps and have to relocate rear slider mount points… but gained 12” of flex!
