    I know you know
I’ll go tube chasis if you help me build it and we use your space
I live in a strict HOA and in a house that doesn’t conceal a generator and welder well

    And
Selling off parts even brand new mint parts is a huge pain right now

Guess that depends on your definition of what tube chassis is. In the race truck world this would be a frame rail truck.

I’m not sure how far under the cab he will cut off for the trailing arms and back half to begin but I think center mount suspension is out of my price range based on the parts my builder prefers to use

and I’m sure 55’s will change how a DBSB behaves in the rear too
Cause I think those DD links would have kept things very predictable while also outta the cab

4x4 center mount is ridiculously expensive on a Tacoma build. Having the 4x4 xlt kit's 18-19" of travel will work good if each other part of the truck is set up to work well.

Any special brand heims you guys run? I’m going to replace the 2 on my rear panhard that seem to have excessive play. Just going to go with some FK stuff but if there is anything out there even better?

Looks like emf is not selling heims currently.

Went to take off my driver side axle nut and was about to unbolt it when I realized it was hand tight. Should I be worried or nah

Not if you're already taking it off. Just make sure it's torqued when you put it back on.

    keeping jersey dirty
Make sure nothing is wallowed out or galling/stripping threads. Also use anti seize when putting the nut back on. On very fine threads like those and with certain materials it's common for the metal to stick a bit and cause the nut to feel torqued before actually reaching the required clamping force. Could be the root cause of your issue

Keep an eye on that wheel bearing now, might’ve caused some premature wear.

Does loctite count as anti-seize? Lol I never want that nut to come loose and it’s supposed to be torqued to like 250ft/lbs or something. I’ve always done blue loctite and a handful of ugga duggas on the ole impact and called it good. And new cotter pins on that little crown nut cap thing every few uses.
