ok guys anyone running over the frame shackles on a spring over setup? Will there be the same benefits from spring underand over frame shackles? My bypasses will be here wednesday and I need to decide what my final setup is going to be.

I think Zach (04LTacoma) can't remember I know he's running 10" SAW, might wanna check out his build thread.

As far as the benefits of a SOA w/ Shackle mounted above the frame there could be a few. Definitely achieve more droop out of it, don't think you'd gain much up travel tho. What Leaf pack are you going to be running?

Would just be the J59's I have now. I think Zach is just longer shackles in stock config.

"....then the "J" arm is the only way to get the wishbone long enough for the desired amount of travel so that the wheel does not go through dramatic camber changes with out pushing the motor way back in the chassis. The only way to build a TT style truck with a traditional "A" arm is if you build it with the motor between the driver/passenger or to build it mid-engine."

Well I can't see there being a down side, as long as you line up all the measurements. I think a 9" shackle would be better suited as well (12" would be too long I'd think)

Little more black, and then they'd fit nice

Buddy of mine has blue sparco's in his 92' pickup (painted SWB) and it looks pretty good!
