lol that's a creative way to use air cylinder clevis mounts

edit: nvmd. Saw on his page that he machines these custom. Though they look identical to clevis mounts I used to use for mounting industrial air cylinders

yea exactly like those. Makes me think I could just go get an SMC mount and repurpose it for a limit strap mount like his

This looks like another 3 link kit that prioritizes being linked more than it does travel... hard to tell because the pictures are for ants:

But those shock mounts look lower than even e.g., Archive's mid travel SOA relocation.

!? A 16" shock mounted that low !? If you look at the shot from under the truck it looks like it only has a few inches of up travel at the most. That is only going to be 16" of travel and it's going to be 3" up and 13" down. I do understand that crawler guys don't care about up travel as much but unless I'm missing something that kit just seems...wrong ?

I have no idea how they're getting a 16" shock there. You don't even get full travel on a 14" shock on Archive's relocation and they're cut through into the bed.

    Doesn't seem worth it.

That's gotta be a 12 inch shock. My 16 are level with my bedside through the bed.

Look at the photos on the website, the body of the shock goes way down...

I think they're 16s the bottom end of them is just mounted down onto the axle. It just looks very odd.

Just for comparison this is what my shock tower for a 12" CO looks like, it has the same shape as the wheel well and then my bed cage bolts through the bed to support it. My axle tabs are on the front of the axle approx 45 degree down :

They are using a 4runner axle and probably the same 4runner geometry that their 4runner kits have, wonder how that translates over to a Tacoma geometry wise lol

There are multiple disc conversion kits for Tacos, I've done it on my truck. I would be surprised if anyone went through a complete axle swap just for disc brakes unless you came across the axle for free ?

It has the factory link mounts still, since their kits dont use all new bracketry and reuses the lower link mounts, passenger side upper link, and panhard
