Oh also where’s your steam port going to? I tapped the top of the water pump which allows me to crack and bleed both the steam vent and the top of the water pump at the same time.

Have you tried with the thermostat not installed? Does the thermostat have a vent hole in it? If not drill a 1/8" hole thru the base but not where it seats.

    LESSSSS GOOOOOOOOOOO

Uh we just kept letting it run till it got hot and shutting it off then it eventually stopped getting hot. Problem solved?
I drove it home so. Driving it to work. Temp stays right at 205. I have a huge laundry list of shit to do but I’m gonna start breaking in the motor now.

I honestly loved my superbumps from wheelers with stock suspension all the way to LT.
Durobumps seem well liked. I plan on those for my 4Runner that will stay “stock”

edit: that said I now have hydros up front and they feel great too lol. It wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t need to cut off the OEM mount for the bypass hoops

I would rather just find a good deal on some air bumps. They’re out there

For bolt on. Air bump required a shit ton of fab. My buddy has duro on his 2" TC kit and I plan to put them on my daughters stock 4Runner.

Give the guy a break not everyone can afford air bumps and the expense of fabrication to install them

It definitely was not directed as an insult, just as healthy discussion. I know there’s some bolt on rear bump kits.

Does anyone know the width of H70HD's. I saw a pretty good deal on Facebook and I've been in the market for some spring under springs. Last year I was planning on doing a c63 swap and bought the ruffstuff swap kit, but then heard bad things about the c63s. So I was hoping I can use the hangers and hardware on the 70HD's.

No offense taken. Just saw them and they look like a cool product. I am still on extended stock bumps, and would rather have a nice cushion than a hard smack. I'm gonna try the perrys

Sweet thank you. It’s the same width so if all the hardware lines up the only thing else I should need is the leaf cradle.

Agreed! However, there is a cheaper way to install compact 2" king bumps rather than cutting off the oem bump mount use the oem mount and modify it to accept a compact can. This isnt for those bombing at mach speed or jumping their tacos all the time, but for all around, with moderate whoops and some small air time this does work just fine. And you save some fab costs.

I went this route for keeping cost down a bit plus space. I have had 2 desert runs, both were mainly in whoops and very small air time. worked just fine.

You'll need 12" shackles, shackle mounts, front leaf mounts, and spring perches (probably came with the ruff stuff kit), and u-bolt plates
