How do you like the setup? Any regrets? Im considering pairing the DMZ SUA kit with JD fab shock towers because I like my bed space.

Great to hear! Looking forward to finishing my setup. A fully LT rig seems so fun

Since we are talking full LT rigs…. took mine out yesterday for the first time after installing the cage. This is another mod that takes your truck up another level in performance. Tying the frame all together gets rid of almost all the vibrations and chatter that was coming from the twisty frame and it lets the suspension soak it all up now. Most noticeable was in washboard where the suspension soaked it up rather than the vibrations and chatter resonating thruout the truck as before the cage. That’s about the best I can explain it. It’s a huge undertaking installing the cage but ultimately totally worth it.
My cab cage is getting tied into the rear bed cage tomorrow but yesterday looking in my rear view mirror I had almost no bed twisting in the whoops whereas before that fucker use to dance wildly. IMG_2903.jpg

Can anyone send pictures of your SUA setup with a hydro bump?

Do you guys leave the stock leaf spring perch as a bump pad?

You need an engine cage ASAP! That front frame section is so damn weak.

stock leaf perch won't work the bump strikes way further outboard than the stock perch, you're going to have to build/buy a pad for the bump to strike. There's not really a "plug and play" setup other than the bolt on kits used with SOA springs, from what I've seen they all use a u bolt flip and use the plate as the strike pad or a strike pad you slide underneath the u bolts.

If I were you, I would buy a bolt on bump kit that uses threaded bumps, weld on your "universal "Bump Pads – Now Shipping Free! – Desolate Motorsports strike pad to the axle then adjust the bumps at the frame rather than vice versa.

I'm using a bolt on kit that uses a pinch style can for fox/Bilstein bumps those have no adjustment once the cans are mounted/and the bump is seated in the can, so I got a universal strike pad and modified it to accommodate my own shock setup. As long as you take your time, mount-cycle-adjust as needed you'll be good to go.

My experience it doesn’t line up with where the bump wants to line up.

Thank you for the info! Exactly what I was looking for. I've been eyeing the TC bolt on kit for a while
