A TTB isn’t off the table lol. I would be down for that too. Just not sure i want to further the snowball and cut the front off my truck too.

IDT TTB on a Taco will net you more travel than the Solo XLT kit though… i think even Harry’s truck is just 19”

edit - it’s too bad that Trac isn’t around anymore his kit was sick too basically identical to the XLT

For me a couple of inches would not be the objective. Durability would be.

For SUA, what are the pros and cons of maintaining an inverted shackle like the DMZ kit vs a flipped one like JD? I mean aside from the obvious ground clearance aspect.

A related question would be why did Toyota go to an inverted shackle when the 2nd gen Taco first came out? First gen was “flipped”

I figured more was the goal, just wondered what the plan was to achieve it, but I guess you're still winging it like the rest of us haha

As always easier said than done, I’d go with a custom J-arm kit if I had 30” out back.
    All of the travel.
    All of the shock.

But I don’t have a horse in that race haha
I’m content with my 16” up front, and think it’ll do good whenever I go links with the stock frame and about 20-22” out back

+4 is wider than I was thinking for a truck that does more State Parks and rock donkey shit vs go fast baja, but I'm also a sucker for a deal... what are you thinking?

Well guys. The swingset is a wrap. Lots of welding and whatnot left, but the challenge is over!

Everything cycles beautifully with absolutely zero bump steer.

Thinking my next move is ordering some 12” shocks and starting to move forward with the J-arm.
