    Yes, I agree.

This is also why I hate the “which leaf pack” threads. Guys have a tent and crap but no idea what anything weighs.

I firmly believe you need to go weigh your truck before messing with leaf packs in order to get it right. $15 and 4 minutes at a CAT scale will save you hours and hundreds of dollars.

    Supercharger coming very soon.
The 5.29’s and our YotaWerx tune makes it drive pretty strong.

Really, the HD should be the starting point. Unless you’re a factory bumper with like zero extra weight. If it’s too much, pulling the 5th leaf is the perfect balance.

Though I will say, with improved geometry. I now have my 5th back in and it’s butter.

But yes. Weigh your stuff. Ideally, corner scales if you have someone local and able.

So.. took it out for a clearance test and I got a coolant low alarm.

Leak at a fitting, maybe.. hopefully not a pink milkshake.

If it ain’t one thing, it’s another!

I emailed JD Fab a few weeks ago asking for dimensions and measurements to/from the rear end of the bed, and they got back to me with the interior dimensions: 27" x 27" x 11"

Yep. Clamp on that upper radiator hose was loose as fuck. Luckily it didn't blow off while I was driving. Guessing it came out of JD Fab like that. Leak was so slow that the coolant was drying on the skid a drop at a time and never left a puddle.

Highly recommend anyone who does their own work to go onto Amazon and get a lifting load cell for like $40. Paired with a lifting sling and engine hoist, and you can get corner weights any time you want. Also great for weighing the axle/wheels/tires assembly to find precise unsprung weights.

Clearancing success. Neatly tucked up under the fender. Still lots of travel left on the other side so we’ll see how that goes.

Hit a baby jump behind my house but it has two sharp turns into it so I had nowhere near enough speed. The front didn’t fall off though. (Yes, two turns into a downhill rut is what passes as a jump nearby.)

    Fucked up.

I’m still dealing with intermittent system too rich codes, even after cleaning all 3 map sensors.

I did just find a set of king 3.0 IBP coilovers with finned resi’s and adjusters and a set of king 3.0 4 tube bypasses with finned resi’s for a smoking deal. Need to find a set of deavers for it too now, but those will have to wait a little probably. Too much spending.

Did you have the FRP Sensor checked out like I mentioned, should be monitored by viewing PIDS, Desired Vs. Actual

I went to bring it in but the code wouldn’t come back. What’s the FRP sensor? I’ll take a look tonight.

Fuel Rail Pressure switch, controls fuel pressure at the high side fuel system. Located under the Air Intake. Gotta get the injectors checked at out too , I think I mentioned that too.

400 miles in and did the first inspection this morning. Everything has a perfect bill of health and I couldn’t be happier to not see a single issue anywhere in the steering system or rear suspension. Time to start hitting some dirt.
