and I think being on 1 tons would help the with the width. I asked Metcho he said I had all 4 down on the ground. Not sure 3 link would make a difference on this. I wonder what would have happened with a little more wheel speed maybe 3rd Gear in Double low. and air'd down a few more PSI...was not really the line you wanna just keep sitting there looking at the sky out the front window, after stalling it a few times. :bananadead:

my sister has a seibon CF wing on her WRX, the clear did start to peel in a few years. But we had the local autobody shop prep and re-clear it and it’s been solid for about 5 years now.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I've had a Seibon hood before, totally worth it to strip them and do good clear rather than the shit gel coat they come with. Clear doesn't yellow

I had one on my X-runner, made one year before it started to peel. I had to repair and reclear it a couple of times before I sold it.
I remember it was wobbly on the freeway and had to put hood pins in it feel safe. This is all in 08 so maybe they are better now?
IMO on an off-road truck, you should do fiberglass if you want to "save weight" and not worry about it being beat up.

The hood wobble is a tacoma thing. Not just the carbon hood. Everyones steel hood is doing that to some extent as well

I’m afraid of my oem hood taking flight on freeways. I’d do good pins but my core support is a bit tweaked. I’d be drilling in different spots on the hood.
